Petit Four Bakery™ derives its name from two meanings – the French translation of “small oven” and also from the modern version of the classic petit four desserts it offers. The restaurant takes an artisanal approach to everyday dining, and is built on the simple genius of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The innovative bakery concept targets the lucrative catering and take-out markets in the downtown core.
The focaccia at Petit Four Bakery™ is displayed on long boards. Bread is baked on site several times daily. Signature sandwiches are freshly prepared on homemade focaccia and Ciabatta and features slow roasted and house cured meats, such as a smoked bacon focaccia with Berkshire pork, sweet ham and hot mustard. Ciabatta sandwiches include decadent offerings such as “Beef & Blue,” with braised beef, sweet onion and Roquefort cheese. Also on the menu is a series of fresh simple salads and several delicious soups. Exceptional sweet finishes will come from a modern version of the classic dessert petit four: intricately finished, multi-layered mini desserts served in shot glasses, made fresh daily and sold individually.
Adding to Petit Four Bakery’s™ high-end experience, the restaurant provides concierges and greeters/expeditors to assist guests with ordering to ensure busy Bay Street types get through the ordering process with ease. Catering is available, and environmentally sensitive packaging has been chosen in keeping with our goal towards company-wide environmental efficiencies and sensitivities.
